​Navigating today's work environments is challenging and demanding on leaders. Everyday, leaders have new problems to solve and decisions to make. Many struggle to find the right balance to do their jobs effectively. There are communication challenges or workplace dynamics that have them wrestling with influence, trust, or respect among their team or peers. Leaders are left feeling ineffective, less confident, stressed, and frustrated, unable to progress forward with the work or their teams, in the organization, or in their careers.

 

Leading in constant change and managing the ever-evolving workplace is not easy. It requires a perspective of embracing change as an opportunity, and a mastery of executive presence.

Hi, I'm Joanna and over the last 25+ years of executive coaching, communications and marketing experience, I've guided leaders and organizations through critical inflection points, change management, transformations, and crisis. My coaching has produced effective, productive, collaborative, and impactful leaders, recognized executive thought leaders and brands, and stronger organizational cultures.

 

I've held leadership roles at SAS, Nickelodeon, Understood.org, and PR agency Golin, and served as a partner, coach, and strategist to leaders at L’Oreal, Kayak, Canon, Avanade, and more.

 

I'm an International Coaching Federation (ICF) certified coach with credentials from NC State’s Leadership Coaching for Organizational Performance program and a degree from Emory University. I specialize in soft skills, communications and change management coaching, as well as emotional intelligence and the EQ-i 2.0 and EQ-i 360 instruments.
