There continues to be a lot of uncertainty in what changes lie ahead in the coming weeks, months, and years, at work and in general.
As we enter into a transition period, it's good to be aware of how change radically affects us. Even when it hasn’t happened yet, thinking about change to come often causes us to react.
Sometimes we act in haste in the anticipation of upcoming change. Other times we freeze and are unable to focus or move forward.
The unknown of what will happen and all the “what if’s” can be intimidating and keep us stuck, even shut some people down because change is difficult for many to digest
So how do we lead through so much rapid change and best support our teams through the emotional and transactional nature of it all?
We need to allow time for processing the change.
We should prioritize communication, empathy, and support.
We can focus on what we can influence and where we can have impact.
We take action so that we don't get stuck and keep moving forward.

As a leader, you can’t predict every twist or turn, and you must be prepared for the unexpected or when things don't go as desired. However, there are leadership lessons around embracing uncertainty, confronting fears, and moving forward with resilience and confidence.
